Metamorphosis Final game
A downloadable game
Kill. Eat. Evolve.
You are not the good one. They are not the bad ones. You are just one of them.
Switch off the lights and play in solitude.
Controls:
---------
Keyboard:
O: Walk left, P: Walk right, SPC: Spit (Attack), Q: Jump
Joysticks:
Left/right : Walking left/right, Up: Jump, Fire: Spit (Attack)
Gameplay:
-----------
You have to collect 3 objects and bring them to the central room with the circles.
In this room, there is a location to drop the objects into the circles.
When all 3 objects are in the circles, a pink teleport to the next level appears. There are 3 levels to explore.
To obtain some objects, you first have to get a Combat room key. If you got the key, a black teleport appears somewhere in the map to enter a combat room.
After entering the combat room, you have to kill all enemies before an object appears.
Gameplay indicators:
---------------------
At the bottom, there is an energy bar. This bar shows your current energy level. Your energy level can be raised by eating worms and is decreased by getting hit by spit or toxic drops. The dots indicate the max energy level at a certain stage. The maximum energy level is increased after you drop an object in the circles.
When you have a Combat room key, a small key symbol appears on the left side of the energy bar.
If you have an object, a red dot is shown on the left side of the energy bar.
Tips:
-----
- You can do 'Mario jumps' to stumble enemies,
- You must find the invisible entrance and enter a 'Dark maze' to get a combatroom key,
- You can leave and re-enter combat rooms if eg. energy level is low,
- Objects and Combat room keys can also be located in previous levels.

Hello!! Sorry for the intrusion, hehehe. My name is Felipe, and until recently, I have been editing games for the Spectrum on cassette. Due to personal and work reasons, I’m going to stop editing, and I'm saying goodbye with a compilation of homebrew games for The Spectrum on USB. I want it to be the best and most complete compilation of homebrew games that has ever been made. It will be a non-profit edition, just to provide users of The Spectrum with a pack to spend hours and hours in front of their ZX. I’ve seen some of your games on http://Itch.io and wanted to ask if you would be interested in contributing any of your ZX games to this compilation. I already have legendary creators from the scene on board, but I’d also like to reach out to you. It can be one game, two, or as many as you want, in .TAP format. Even simply granting me permission and letting me know which games I could include would be enough, and I can download them from http://Itch.io. We have created a system where the games will be encrypted, and no one will be able to use them digitally; they will only be playable on their The Spectrum, Divide, or computer. My email is playonretro@gmail.com. Best regards, and thank you very much

Hi, can I get a credit for my Blood Rain font?
https://damieng.com/typography/zx-origins/blood-rain/
Sorry Damien ..... didn't know that the font was yours ...
I added you to the credits.
Hopefully it's ok we used it.
It's absolutely fine - that's what they're there for! Thanks for adding.
Super how the graphics blends with the mechanics and the theme.
Top notch music!
Awesome. Nothing else to say. Cheers!!
Thank you very much. How did you find the level of difficulty between platform and puzzles?
Increasing platform difficulty is done by increasing the number of enemies and extending the maze. Because the maze is extended, it's more difficult to find objects and teleports.
